Black Mountain which is known locally as Gebel al-Ingleez and internationally as English Mountain is one of Bahariya Oasis’s most iconic landmarks. It is located just a short drive from Bawiti the main town of Bahariya Oasis.
This dark volcanic hill that is rising from the golden sands of the Western Desert is a place full of history and from the top you can see endless sand dunes and lush palm groves as well as the famous black and white mountains that make this region so unique
