Maharraqa Temple

The Temple of Maharraqa is a Roman period monument in Nubia that blends Egyptian tradition with Roman style beside it was built for the worship of Isis and Serapis and is known for its rare spiral staircase something you will not find in other temples in the region
Today it stands near Lake Nasser beside other relocated temples, offering visitors a chance to see one of the last chapters of Nubia’s ancient history
