1 Day 1: Embarkation & Abu Simbel Temples

Arrival In Abu Simbel

Upon your arrival at Abu Simbel Airport (ABS) or your hotel in Abu Simbel, our Step To Egypt representative will assist you with passport control formalities, luggage identification, and collection.

Transfer To Your Cruise

You will be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle from the airport or the hotel to your 5★ Lake Nasser Cruise. The driver and our representative will assist during the transfer, and upon arrival at the port, the cruise bell staff will collect your luggage directly from the vehicle and deliver it to the reception for check-in.

Check-In

Upon boarding your 5★ Lake Nasser Cruise, complete the check-in formalities at reception. The crew will be on hand to assist and ensure a comfortable start to your cruise tour. Afterwards, proceed to your cabin and store your luggage.

Lunch Onboard

Lunch is prepared with Egyptian and international cuisines, before the sightseeing tour starts.

Abu Simbel Temples

The Temples of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II in the 13th century BC during the 19th Dynasty, are among the most iconic monuments of ancient Egypt. The Great Temple is dedicated to Amun Ra, Ra Horakhty, and Ptah, as well as Ramses II himself, with colossal statues of the pharaoh seated at its entrance. The Small Temple is dedicated to the goddess Hathor and Queen Nefertari, Ramses’ beloved wife. Both temples were relocated by UNESCO in the 1960s to protect them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser and are masterpieces of ancient Egyptian architecture and art, making them a highlight of our Egypt Day Tours & Excursions.

Tea Time

In the afternoon, have tea and light snacks while viewing the surroundings of Abu Simbel.
