Aswan is a city located in the far south of Egypt about 890 km from the capital city of Cairo and 220 km from Luxor City and it is considered a central market although it is the smallest of the three touristic cities on the Nile. Aswan is found on the east bank of the Nile River right near the famous Aswan High Dam and Lake Nasser.
